How’s Georgia treating you? Do you miss the midwest?

Georgia is overall treating me really well. I start school here in January and I’m ridiculously excited. I had friends here to begin with and have made some great ones too. And the move may not have made a whole lot of sense on the surface to people, but it felt right and I think this is my place for at least a few years. Yeah, I miss friends and family, and I got a little weepy when I missed the first snow of the season, but this is right for me, regardless of how crazy it might be. And I do get to go home for Christmas to see my people, but I’ll be more than ready to come back here for 2010. =]
